Your Bio

I love photographing this amazing world around us. Be it landscapes, seascapes, nature, portraits or a mix of just about everything else; it's all so wonderful. You will notice that many of my images are from Maine, particularly Acadia National Park. It is a special place to me. Every time I visit I am filled with the wonder of God's marvelous creation. Just off the Loop Road near Otter Point is a place called Gorham Mountain. I love it there. When sitting atop this rise you can look out over Frenchman's Bay across to Great Head with the vista of the Gulf of Maine stretching to the horizon. It is a place where the sky, trees and ocean meet. It is the inspiration for the name of my website. Maybe I'll see you there someday!

This is still a site in the works. Keep checking back as things change and more galleries are added. I hope you enjoy browsing through my photos.

I am available in the Brattleboro, Vermont area for photographic assignments, architectural and design work, portraits and engagement announcement photos as well as senior photo packages. If I can be of service to you please hit the "Contact" button in the Navbar and send me a message. I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Here are a few comments some have made about my work:

"Thank you so much for the attention you paid to details."

"What a delightful package to come home to this week! Thank you again for preserving that special moment in June."

"Again, thank you, thank you for your time and effort. The photograph will be an heirloom in our family for years to come!"

"Hi Bill, We just returned from Maine yesterday. Thank you so much for the beautiful mounted photo of the pier. We have a special frame for it and we will display it in our "little house" in Old Orchard Beach. Thank you so much for thinking of us, we appreciate it."

If you happened to catch my recent gallery displays at Mocha Joes in Brattleboro or at the Peterborough Camera Shop in Peterborough, NH drop me a line and let me know what you think.

I am currently conducting a Photography Workshop in Brattleboro, VT. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Green Mountain Chapel, 480 Western Avenue, (Route 9). I would love to have you stop by as we seek to gently encourage one another in this marvelous endeavor called photography. There is no fee for the workshop.

My current inventory of photographic equipment is based primarily around Nikon products. I am shooting with Nikon D800, D7000, and D3000 bodies which are complemented with various Nikon, Tamron and Sigma lenses and Nikon SpeedLight flashes. My studio lighting is centered around a set of Impact strobes. My post processing package includes Lightroom 3, DxO Optics Pro 7, Photomatix Pro and Photoshop Elements 10.
